Sales: Sales is the blood life of any Organisation and here the sales has been decreased in Dec 2019 as compared with September 2019. Moreover Sales Remains more or less same only over the quaters of years.
Expenses: It is basically expenditure borned by the company. Here expenditure is increasing and decreasing in the same fashion as that of Sales. So, Expenditure dependent on Sales. More Sales means More Expenditure.
Operating Profit: It is Sales Minus Expenditure. Operating Profit is Lower in December 2019 as compared with September 2019. Overall Operating is also more or less same only over tthe quarters.

My Recommendations: ONGC company is Good but if you are Looking for Short Term Investment it is quite good but if you are looking for Long Term Goal you will money i.e. your capital that you invested.
